Model Overview

The 2019 Audi A8 is equipped with the 3.0 TFSI Quattro Tiptronic powertrain. This powertrain features a 3.0L 6-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired to an 8-speed transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive make handling and responsiveness impressive in all weather conditions. In addition, the new A8 features a mild hybrid technology, which captures recovered energy and uses it to enhance acceleration and the adaptive suspension. The A8 also features four selectable driving modes -- Dynamic, Comfort, Individual and Automatic -- all of which help provide the driver with the best possible ride and handling. Additional powertrain options may be available later in the 2019 production year.
The A8 has a luxurious interior that matches the best of both classic executive car cabins with some of the fine, almost custom-look details of bespoke ultra-luxury cars. Interior trims include matte-brushed aluminum, walnut natural wood with black inlays, Nappa leather trim, Valetta leather seats and heated 18-way power front seats. Other notable comfort and convenience features include four-zone climate control, steering wheel shift paddles, power sunshades, soft-closing doors, LED headlights and taillights and a rear view camera.

Technology inside the A8 second to none, including the Audi virtual cockpit, which is a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster with two viewing modes. Additionally the A8 features Navigation with voice control, configurable touchscreen dual center displays, Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system with 17-speakers, HD radio, SiriusXM and smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
